  <dc:description>Papers relating to the Aberdeen Clerical Society that comprise minute books and meeting papers, 1881 - 1973. In addition the society papers are a group of documents called the Kildrummy papers, which are two notebooks of transcribed documents relating various subjects but mainly to Kildrummy and Mr John Alexander, a priest in Kildrummy. The transcribed documents include: a presentation to the Kirk of Kildrummy by the Earl of Marr in favour of John Alexander, 1682; a minute of the meeting of the Presbytery of Alford, 1689; and a copy letter from John Alexander, to his wife, sent from the prison in Cannongate, 1716.  </dc:description>
