Annotated: 'The seventh son of a seventh son and said to be gifted with second sight. At school one of his class fellows became the head of the Jamaican Government. ESCOFFERY was the best man in the medical year which graduated in 1918. He could read a page of Gray's Anatomy and then repeat many of the paragraphs and give an excellent summary of the whole page. He was an excellent teacher and could always explain the difficulties ?p his class companions.' Photograph, mounted (11 x 7 inches).</dc:description>
