  <dc:description>Letters and diaries of the Reverend A. R[onald] G. Burn of Whatfield Rectory, Ipswich, 1914-1927. This collection records a series of walking and climbing tours and short holidays taken by Mr. Burn between 1914 and 1927. The diaries give details of the routes taken and contain many references to place names, local Gaelic expressions and folklore. MS 3231/11 contains letters to Burn found loose in the diaries and correspondents include Theodore Campbell , A. L. Bagley, C. Scott, E. M. Corner and R. Matheson.</dc:description>
