Impressions of Russia, September 1936 Lecture describing the trip from Warsaw to Moscow, experience of Russian customs, of hotels in Moscow, the greyness of the streets and of people's clothes, old buildings being replaced by new, the vibrancy of the Moscow theatres, and meeting the Russian Minister of Health with Dr Agnes Bennett of New Zealand. Also, gives a brief account of the Russian health service, in which each child is allocated to a specific doctor who sees them regularly during their first three years, where the medical clinics also serve as a health education resource, and where provision is made for dental treatment. 1936
