<dc:title>Letter from Sir William Forbes to George Glennie, from Edinburgh </dc:title>
<dc:description>Thanks Glennie for sending the paper on the projected union of Marisdchal and King's universities in 1786, as this bears out what he has stated about the two establishments, and for other materials Glennie has sent. Dugald Stewart has not provided him with the kind of analysis of the Essay on Truth that he requires, but instead has sent a very detailed paper; Forbes asks if Glennie could provide him with a short, popular analysis of the essay.
