Encloses a letter for James Mercer [not present], informing him that Forbes has concluded and agreement with a bookseller in Edinburgh for publication of a new uniform edition of all Beattie's works. With copy reply by Glennie on final page, quoting Cicero's O magna vis veritatis and thanking Forbes for all his kindness. 3 April 1804
