Refers to the other books Beattie sent, and thanks him for gift to poor widows and children of our fishermen. Arbuthnot has suffered a great loss in the death of his son. Concern about Adamson's health; Laing's advice for him. Hopes the last parcel of stomach pills suited Beattie </dc:description>
