  <dc:title>To Lady Mayne, from St. James's Square</dc:title>
<dc:description>Still at St James's Square but setting out tomorrow at noon and should reach Ware. Mrs Beattie's health worse and Sir Joshua Reynolds wanted to have them with him yesterday. Refers to Majendie's note [letter MS 30/2/234] about the Queen's approval of Beattie and his letter to Dr Porteus. Has seen a print of Reynolds portrait which is magnificent and very faithful. Has asked Mr Watson the engraver to send two of the best impressions to Lady Mayne and Miss Graham. Thanks Lady Mayne for 24 copies of Knight's History of the Bible which he will give to appropriate young people.</dc:description>
