<dc:title>To the Duchess of Gordon from Peterhead</dc:title>
<dc:description>Thanks Duchess for letter. As promised he has written to Peckard Master of Magdalen College Cambridge about Lord Huntly. Congratulations on Lady Madelina Sinclair's marriage [Lady Madelina Gordon, born 1772, second daughter of the Duke and Duchess, married Robert Sinclair on 2 April 1789]. Could not accept Duchess invitation for anniversary because of want to horses, sore throat and fever. Business in Aberdeen and Montrose will make him leave in two or three days. </dc:description>
