  <dc:description>Backbond granted at Inneralloquhie [=Inverallochy] by Symone, Lord Fraser of Lovatt, in favour of Alex. Fraser of Carnebulg and Robert Fraser, his son and apparent heir,  following on bond by them as principals and Lovat as cautioner toAndrew Fraser of Stoneywood, for 2550 merks at Elgin, on 22 Oct. 1617, another bond to George Gordon of ??Tarspie for 600 merks on 13 Nov. 1613 by Robert Fraser and others, and a third by Robert Fraser &amp; others at Edinburgh on 16 or 17 August 1616 for £400 Sc. These were duly registerd and decreets made thereon on 28 June 1618. Sums transferred by principals in favours Hew Fraser of Kilbokie in obligations signed at Edinburgh on 8 and 18 May 1618 and assignation by Stephane Boyd of 29th June 1618 to Symon, Lord fraser of the sum of £400 Sxc. which was transferred to Hew Fraser on 17 July. Lord Lovat was now bound to obtain discharges of same from Hew for Alex.. and Robert Fraser by 1st Jan. Procutatory of registration is included.
