Duncan, writer, of letters of horning issued to John Robertson, messenger under the signet of James VI at Edinburgh Feb. 22 1608. Extract executed on 25 Mar. 1608 and 24 dec. 1608 and again on 4 Feb. 1609. Horning was at instance of Andrew Clerk, burgess of Aberdeen, consequent upon non-payment of bond to him, for 1000 merks granted on 21 May 1605 repayable on 6 June 1606 by Sir Alex. Fraser of Fraserburgh & cautioners, George Crawfurd of Annochie & Alex. Fraser of Forrest.Bond registered on date of horning (22 Feb. 1608). Feb. 17 1609
