One endorsement gives year as 1557 and another as 1558, but text has 1558. On parchment in Latin with archbishop's signature and beautifully preserved archiepiscopal seal 3" in diameter appended on tag (family arms impressed on reverse side of wax). Second tag has now no seal attached. Endorsed as "prima carta"[? teinds rather than rents.]</dc:description>
