Fraser of Phillorth and Fraserburgh and Alexander Chalmer under reversion of 1000 merks. Apparently produced for same purpose on 18 November 1617. Signed at Inverallochy on above date between Sir Alex. Fraser and Alex. Chalmer, son of the late Alex Chalmer portioner of Tyrie. In return for 1000 merks. Chalmer is to be infeft in the middle of the third of lands of Cowburtie etc. as occupied by him in barony of Phillorth by a feu charter of alienation with precept of sasine for yearly feuduty of £6 Scots, astricted multures and knaveships, smiddy work etc. etc. I used clauses re. redemption, relief registration etc. Duly signed and witnessed.
