  <dc:description>Letters of horning granted under the signet at Edinburgh,(signetted &amp; extracted by Wm. Garden on 18th June) at the instance of Andrew, Lord Fraser against Sir Alex. Fraser, 1st physician in ordinary to Charles II for non-fulfillment of obligation of 22 Feb. 1665 following on Lord Fraser's disposition in his favour of 28 Jan 1665 respecting barony of Durris. As these lands were burdened by three wadsets (by late Andrew, Lord Fraser to late Walter Grant of Conglass etc. of Wester Durris under reversion of 10,000 merks &amp; outstanding tackduty dated 1 |Nov. 1653; by Andrew, Lord Fraser &amp; his father to late lex. Burnet, younger, merchant burgess of Aberdeen etc. of mains of Durris etc. under reversion  of wadsetsof 35,000 merks &amp; outstanding tack duties dated 5 and 7 July 1656 &amp; 9 Oct. 1661; to Jeilla Burnet, relict of deceased George Adie, merchant burgess of Aberdeen in liferent &amp; her children David, George, Margaret Adie (equally) in fee of Lochtoune under reversion of 10,000 merks with outstanding tackduties as in contracts of 1 July 1658. Wadsets redeemable with one year's tackduty at Whitsun. 1665; Sir Alex. Fraser was to satisfy wadsetters accordingly and relieve Lord Fraser and his father's executors thereof &amp; obtain discharges from wadsetters for Lord Fraser.
 A decreet had followed upon registration of this obligation on 20 Apr. 1669 requiring Sir Alex. Fraser to fulfil terms as requested. He is now to be charged to comply with obligation under pain of horning &amp; escheat.
