  <dc:description>Disposition granted at Edinburgh by Andrew, Lord Fraser, heritable proprietor of lands mentioned, in favour of sir Alexander Fraser, first physician in ordinary to His Majesty, on receipt of a total sum of 18,500 merks and a promise of payment to Lord Fraser's creditors of sums owing as in wadsets following (?0 extending in all to 73,500 merks. In return Lord Fraser dispones in favour of Sir Alex. Fraser, the barony of Durris (including Kinclunies, Balfour, Densyde, Brakmonth, Castletoun &amp; Castlehill of Durris etc. etc.Includes procuratory of resignation(Wadsets granted by Lord Fraser or his father etc.) are excepted from clause of warrandice to allow Sir Alex. Fraser to redeem these and rights are assigned to him by Lord Fraser as his father's heir etc. and deeds are to be handed over. Entry as a Whitsunday last. Barony of Cowie apparently is excepted from disposition . This is seemingly a contemporary copy of the original.</dc:description>
