  <dc:description>Instrument of consignation taken at Aberdeen by William Bruce, N.P., in the Tolbooth there on compearance of Alex. Pattoune, advocate in Aberdeen with letter of factory of 5th June 1663 granted him by Andrew, Lord Fraser, instructing him to pay at this place to Gilbert Molysone , burgess of Aberdeen, the sum of 7,500 merks &amp; 15 merks fees for redemption of lands of Staniewood and Wattertoun as in requisition given by Gilbert M. to Lord Fraser. Money offered to Molyson (who was present) &amp; on refusal thereof or non-production of relevant writ, Pattoune protested on Lord Fraser's behalf at non-fulfilment of contract of wadset took instruments of Bruce.
