Contract with entry from Mart. 1654 last, on payment of 10,000 merks, foe which lands would be redeemable, together with tack of tiendsheaves for one year from Lammas 1655 and thereafter from year to year during non redemption, tackduty being payable to Lord Fraser or to the minister of kirk of Aberdour for his relief. MS. breaks off before final clauses e.g. regarding registration are reached and particulars of signing entered and first sheet is also incomplete with three full sheets in between.
Part of a note recording registration in register of sheriffdom of Banff is visible on back of first torn sheet but no date or other particulars preserved..</dc:description>
