Forbes W.S. were named as cautioners), of Gilbert Fraser. Signed at his home in Edinburgh on 8 Aug. 1645. Gilbert Fraser, merchant burgess of Edinburgh, died in 1645. Bebts etc & assets are listed as given up by Andrew Ramsay, merchant, James |Chyne and Robert Petrie, writer in Edinburgh, his executors. He seemingly died without male heirs & may have been some relation to Lord Fraser. 1654
