  <dc:title>Bond of provision following on marriage contract between Master of Fraser and his wife, Agnes Haldane, now Lady Fraser.</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Bond of provision [damaged, top right hand corner torn out] granted at Muchall by Andrew, Lord fraser, following on marriage contract when Master of Fraser, between him and him and his wife, Agnes Haldane, now Lady Fraser, of 25th July 1634, whereby he was to provide an heir male with 24,000 merks at the age of ...[?] of heirs female only 12,000merks, 1 son &amp; 1 daughter, 12,0000 &amp; 10,000 merks each.. Now makes provision for his only son now living, Andrew Fraser, by granting infeftment to him &amp; his heirs male, in Wattertoun , with mill etc, and salmon fishing on Don, Waltoun, Stonewoode, Meikle and Little Clintertie, Rusehill and Mill of Clintertie in the barony of Stoneywood &amp; parish of St. Machar, in feuferm &amp; heritage for yearly payment of £4 Sc. feuferm duty and other conditions as in charter to be granted - see 177.
 Contains  reversion and warrandice clauses and son to enjoy tiendsheaves during non- redemption &amp; is assigned to he letter of tack respecting these granted to father by Wm. Leslie principal of the College at Auld Aberdeen &amp; others for Leslie's lifetime &amp; 5 years thereafter under conditions therein stated [163-167], Father to have liferent, however, of most of lands re. and Anna Drummond, Lady Fraser, elder, was to retain liferent of Wattertoun &amp; mill lands, other reservations made concerning rights possessed by John Fraser, brother of the late Andrew Lord Fraser in Clintertie.
Son's entry to be afret his father's decease and he is to be paid @ rent of 2400 merks yearly from that time (in compensation for lands still liferented by relations out-living father) until entered to actual possession  of all lands returned. Redeemable by father during his lifetime for 20,000 merks gold or silver of this realm at parish Kirk of St. Nicholas in New Aberdeen, called the Auld Kirk. Son may, if 21 or over at time of father's decease demand the cash instead   of the lands - clauses accordingly inserted to deal with this with procuratory of registration.
