Forbes, eldest son of John Forbes of Pitsligo of the crown as immediate superior in consequence of decreet of apprising against Alex. Fraser of Carnebulg and his son Robert subsequently resigned into hands of crown for fresh infeftment in favour of Andrew Fraser, elder of Staneywoode.

In verso in O.Sc. is endorsement recording granting of sasine on above at Carnebulg on 8 Jan 1625 by Andrew Smythe in "Innerelloquhye [= Inverallochy] for sheriff of Aberdeen to Andrew Fraser of Stoneywoode of lands and fishings etc. to be delivered to William Gardin.... on behalf of Fraser. Witnesses named. Instruments taken by ? J. Baird, N.P., Written and sealed under certification of the great seal by ? chancery clerk depute on 23 Oct 1624.
