Letters of renunciation and reversion by Alex. Forbes , eldest son  &amp; heir of John Forbes of Pitsligo with express advice of his father as his administrator tutor &amp; guardian &amp; father for himself etc.. Following on court of apprising at Aberdeen on 29 Oct 1617 at their instance against Alex. Fraser then of cairnbulg &amp; his son, Robert on their lands etc. etc.(as inearlier writs) &amp; decreet thereon of 17 dec. 1617, Forbes was infeft in lands etc. but as Fraser had disponed lands etc &amp; reversions in favour of Andrew Fraser of Staneywoode. Stoneywood had intinated his intention to redeem the appraising to extent of 8942 merks principal &amp; 449 merks. 
Sums consigned to hands of alex. Forbes of Boyndlie &amp; action taken by Fraser against Forbes &amp; decreet given on 17 Feb. ----- in Fraser's favour.
Forbes has therefore to grabt renunciation of lands of Carnbulg etc. Fraser has raised letters of horning requesting this &amp; Forbes had obtained suspension but decreet was in favour of Fraser&amp; renunciation is now made by Forbes accordingly with procuratory of resignation.[ms braeks off before end of 3rd [? final sheet].In dorso is   record of Rregistration at Edinburgh on 5 March 1622 by J.
