Gives account of movements since leaving Demerara for Barbados and Cuba; had called at Nuevitas before reaching Manoti; describes scenery etc; found insects troublesome when loading timber; cargo completed during another call at Nuevitas on 12 July, in the hope of receiving orders to sail home to Falmouth; gives more detailed account than in 5/26 of visit to St. Mary's church, Mahaica, to trace her brother's grave 9 - 12 July 1885
