Handwritten letter is attributed to Sir Thomas Innes of Learney and has the Clan Innes crest in the top left corner. The letter is address from Kinnairdy Castle and addressed to Dr Kelly. The typed letter outlines the work which was undertaken at Kinnairdy and the discovery of a 'piece of one of the flatstones of the parapet walk, complete with waterspout'. The typed letter indicates that Sir Thomas 'enclosed designs' which are likely to be the designs MS 2380/3/6.  The letter has ink annotations and is signed. </dc:description>
