Song books of Bob Cooney, activist Volumes containing the song books of Bob Cooney. He was a member of the Aberdeen Communist Party, actively taking part in the politics of his day. The books containing songs are part of the later part of his life when had retired from an active post in the Communist Party and was exiled in Birmingham. He was a minor folk singer who did have at least one record published, he returned to Aberdeen at the end of his life continuing with his song and poem writing. Pre 1984
