<dc:title>Letter from Wolfgang Musculus in London to Robert Beale</dc:title>
<dc:description>Describes Beale as his 'Maecenas' and a friend of his father (Abraham Musculus) minister of Berne. He is at present in difficulty but John Bodley, a London merchant, is willing to make money available if Beale will be guarantor. Asks that he will. Beale appears to be away from London and the writer suggests that letters from him should be sent to 'Hercules the bookseller'. [abstract by James D. George]
Letter in Latin, 1 page. The appeal was successful, see MS 1009/2/17.
