  <dc:description>Notes of twenty-three lectures delivered by Dr. Alexander Kilgour in the Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen taken by Angus Fraser on the subject of Clinical Medicine, May-July 1859. The volume contains notes on lectures (pages 1-35) and hospital and clinical notes (pages 37-41) followed by several pages of notes on prescriptions. Pencilled notes on Dr. Greenhulgh's practice at St. Bartholomew's, dated 11 January 1868, are also included and these refer to the prevention of infection and cellulitis. More than half the volume is blank. Subjects covered in the lectures include:

Obstruction of the bowels (lecture 10)
