Broughty Ferry St Luke's and Queen Street church is in the Presbytery of Dundee, which was in the synod of Angus and Mearns until the abolition of synods in 1992.Broughty Ferry St Luke'sSt Luke's Free church was sanctioned in 1878 and the kirk session constituted on 9 July 1878. The congregation were housed in 'The Iron Church' from 12 May 1878 until the opening of the new church on 27 November 1884. St Luke's Free became St Luke's United Free in 1900 and St Luke's in 1929.Broughty Ferry Queen StreetQueen Street United Presbyterian church began as a preaching station in 1873. The members initially worshipped in a public hall until the opening of Queen Street United Presbyterian Church on 15 June 1876, which is now B-Listed. A hall was obtained from Union church when that congregation united with West Church in 1925. Queen Street United Presbyterian church became Queen Street United Free in 1900 and Queen Street in 1929.Broughty Ferry St Luke's and Queen StreetFollowing the union of Broughty Ferry St Luke's and Broughty Ferry Queen Street, on 14 June 1953 the united charge continued to use St Luke's church and Queen Street church was sold in 1969. The church, built in 1884 is A-Listed.
