Administrative History'Anatomical variations' are the records (drawings and notes) made by students to illustrate anomalies in human anatomy that they had encountered in their dissection practicals. They were presented for discussion to the Anatomical and Anthropological Society and a written account printed in the Society's 'Proceedings.'
Custodial History'Variations' for the period 1891 - 1892, pre-date the Society, but came to be stored with those later 'Variations' that were presented to the Society and published in its 'Proceedings.'
