Description | Slide shows a line chart demonstrating 'frequency distributions of cranial index (breadth as percentage of length), S in Sweden (after Lamborg and Linders, R in Russia (Smolensk district, after Tchepowkovsky), I in Piedmont (after Livi).' The text continues to say: 'Abscissa, cephalic index; ordinate, percentage frequency. The irregular form of the Piedmontese curve is due to the small number (1,238) examined. All measurements were made on living men.' There are 3 lines, 1 for Sweden, 1 for Russia and 1 for Piedmont. The Y axis is numbered from 0 to 15, the X axis is numbered from 65 to 100. |
