Description | Slide shows black and white chart demonstrating populations of USA, England & Wales and areas of France between various dates from eighteenth century to early twentieth. The 'y' axis is labelled 'Population' and the scale is 0 to 1.0 marked at intervals of 0.2. The 'x' axis is labelled 'Standard intervals' with a scale from -5 to +5. The curve begins at 0 and has various markers on it which correspond to the following key: [Large white circle] - USA; [Small white circle] - England & Wales; [Small black circle] - France. Down the right hand side of the image are details which presumably come from the original page in a text book, and read as follows: '1925]. And the factors which control it. 21'.
