| Description | Slide shows two black and white photographs of a full-length naked human male (one of front and one of back).
Label below photographs reads 'Fig. 157. - Case of pituitary infantilism. (Byrom Bramwell.) The patient was 27 when the photograph was taken. His height was 4 feet 1 and 3/4 inches. Notice the arrested development of the sexual organs, the deficiency of hair, the adiposity, the slender limbs and digits, and the general approach to the feminine type of body.'

Adiposity = a collection of fatty tissue.
Pituitary dwarfism/ infantilism is dwarfism caused by the lack of a functional anterior pituitary gland. |
