Table has seven columns:
Column 1 shows the following: Sea water, King crab, Jellyfish, Lobster, Dogfish, Sand shark, Cod, Pollack, Frog, Dog, Man. These names are followed by their Latin genus.
Column 2 shows compositions of sodium (Na), column 3 shows compositions of potassium (K), column 4 shows compositions of calcium (Ca), column 5 shows compositions of magnesium (Mg). Column 6 shows compositions of chlorine (Cl) and column 7 shows composition of compound sulphate (SO4).
Title below table reads: 'Note these figures are those for plasma or serum, not for the whole blood. The blood cells are not taken into account since they cannot be regarded as part of the internal environment'.
