Written in white ink on bottom, 'The oldest known dinosaur'.
Newton & Co, 3 Fleet Street, London' marked on sticker in upper left corner, partly obscured. Newton & Co were described as 'Opticians and Globe Makers to the Queen, 1861- 85', having succeeded Newton & Son (John and William Newton) from premises in Chancery Lane, London.
Number '58' written on tape on top edge of slide.
