DescriptionVolume containing descriptions, measurements and provenance (where known) of skeletal remains in the University's Anatomy Museum. Some of these remains may have been transferred to the Anthropological Museum.

The volume follows the style of an inventory or may have been an attempt to prepare a retrospective accessions register for the skeletal remains. It is written in a number of different hands. Contents are as follows:

Skulls found in Cathedral (O.A.) [St Machar's Cathedral, Old Aberdeen]: numbered I - XIX;
Skulls from Shetland: numbered 1 - 23;
Four male Hindoo skulls presented by Dr John Robb, ?Alinidahad: numbered 1 - 4;
Various: numbered I - X;
Group III, Australia: numbered A - L;
Ancient human skulls, ?11th century, ?Danish, found at Port Eroll in 1894: numbered 261 - 263;
Skulls from Wa Kamba got at Kiu Station in Uganda, presented by Ian Rose, M.B. (Aberdeen), Medical Officer in Uganda Railway: numbered I - V;
Skulls, etc. from early Egyptian tombs in Marischal College Anatomical Museum: 54 pages of measurements, apparently following arrangement of bones in display cases, including results of chemical analysis of moisture, organic matter and inorganic matter in specimen of human bone from El Amrah, Egypt presented by Randall MacIver, 1901;
Wa Kamba skulls: numbered I - V (slight variations in measurements recorded earlier in volume);
M-Kamba skull: numbered I;
Wa Soga skulls: numbered I - X.
