| Description | Two registers provide a record of bodies passing through the Parochial Burying House during the period 1844 - 1944. The details recorded vary slightly between the two registers, but both include the following information:
Number, name of deceased, age and sex, last place of abode, date and place of death, date of removal, how disposed of (claimed by or unclaimed, with teachers name and date sent when sent to school), date of interment.
The earlier register, covering the period 1843 - 1921, also records general expense (removal and interment, premium and porterage).
The later register, covering the period 1921 - 1944, also records place of interment. |
