Description | Notes on Scots law, 1673. The notes may well have been made by Alexander Spalding, an advocate in Aberdeen, they certainly belonged to him soon after they were written. The name was not common in Aberdeen in the 17th century and Spalding may well have been a relation of John Spalding, lawyer and local historian. |
