Administrative HistoryDr. Alexander Rose was one of the ministers of Inverness, who died in 1850. His trustees were George Grant, esquire, merchant of Liverpool, his son-in-law, the Reverend Donald Macdonald, minister in Inverness, also his son-in-law, and Robert Smith, solicitor in Inverness.
SourceThe papers were purchased with the Carnegie Grant in 1912.
DescriptionMinutes of Trustees under deed of settlement registered 16 April 1845, 1850 - 1865. Rose's estate was to be divided between his surviving daughters and the families of his deceased daughters.
