Description | Original diaries of activities onboard the Murchison platform, recorded by or on behalf of the Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), the most senior member of the crew who had overall responsibility for the platform and the people onboard. Many of the diary entries are unstructured, some are divided into sections by name, and some are organised by activities including safety, operations, drilling, services, plant, systems, diving and construction. It's not known why the diaries cease at 1991 and whether any subsequent diaries of this type were recorded and kept. |
