It contains notes on expenses incurred and pencil sketches of people and places observed during his travels. The volume is dated sporadically throughout and contains notes on London (17 August 1824), travelling from Amsterdam to Utrecht, a sketch of a mill (22 August 1824), and refers to Rotterdam, Leyden [Leiden] and Antwerp (3 September 1824). |
