| Description | Photocopy of the profile of Professor Mallard in 'The Heritage of the Med-Chi' by A.Adam & J.D.Hutchison, 1 January 2007. A second photocopied article from University of Aberdeen magazine, January 2008 entitled 'Pioneering scanner in sight' and includes a photograph of Professor David Lurie beside which Professor Mallard has enscribed 'PEDRI at last!'. Finally, a letter from Professor Angela Newing to Professor Mallard dated 23 March 2007 in which she congratulates him on his MRI work having recently experienced an MRI scan as a result of a brain haemorrhage. The MRI scans not only diagnosed her condition but showed how well it resolved and that there was no malformation and so prevented further more invasive investigation. Professor Mallard notes that he replied and sent a copy of the 50th Anniversary copy of Physics in Medicine and Biology (MS 3819/1/251/1)
