Administrative HistoryOn behalf of the owners of MCP-01, Total E&P UK Limited held the statutory consultation of the MCP-01 Decommissioning Programme between 9th March and 25th April 2005. Under the Frigg Treaty, the UK and Norwegian authorities took a joint approach to the decommissioning of MCP-01, hence the UK’s usual 30-day consultation period was extended to 45 days to accommodate the Norwegian practice of longer consultation periods.
DescriptionComprises draft decommissioning programmes published for public consultation, assessments of disposal methods and impacts, and two public notices announcing the beginning of the consultation phase.
