DescriptionThe report is structured to cover the main phases of the project individually, so it is split into sections regarding engineering (basic engineering study, evolution of work and problems encountered, man hours and compressor characteristics); procurement, construction (onshore yards, comparison of planned and actual progress), lift and hook-up (evolution of the logistics of and difficulties encountered during the installation of the facilities on MCP-01), commissioning and start-up (procedures, timetables and recommendations for future projects), with further chapters concerning statistics and ratios (technical, budgetary, etc), and the installation of facilities at St Fergus to accommodate the extra gas. It gives an overview of the objectives and reasons for installing compression facilities on MCP-01, the schedules and actual timeline of the compression project, and each chapter provides a brief scope of work and summarises the contractors' and contracts' details. Contains technical drawings, graphs and charts where appropriate. Front cover annotated "File: Technical report MCP01 box 22".
