DescriptionThe inspection and report was concerned with examining the evacuation systems, such as escape chutes and advanced lifeboat design, and escape routes, muster points and other safe haven, with particular regard to lighting, signposting, integrity, fire protection and weather dependency. Part One comprises of an Introduction, Findings of Inspection; Discussion; Conclusions and Recommendations; References; and Photographs from Visit (colour). Part two comprises Appendix A - Findings During Inspection of the Different Areas of the Platform and Appendix B - Siting of Essential Escape Lighting Luminaires and Uniformity of Illuminance. The appendices include plans of the platform labelled to indicate the relevant safety features, or the lack thereof. Part One has some annotations, mostly indicating when the recommendations will be followed through.
