| Description | The first twelve volumes are the Still Photographic Reference 1978 Underwater Survey of MCP-01. Colour photographs, most approximately 6" x 6" taken during the underwater survey of MCP-01.All subsea areas were inspected. Each volume comes with a cover sheet with an index of what parts of the platform are shown in which photos.
The remaining volumes are the Marine Growth Survey Report, the Underwater Inspection Report Secondary Structure (interior), and the Underwater Inspection Report Primary Sutructure (interior). The former consists of a review of the 1977 and 1978 survey results and a comparison between the two; problem areas; recommendations and conclusions and an appendix providing a species list, location and dried weight of the organisms. The second volume comprises photocopies of handwritten diving summaries, giving the dive number, date, support vessel, crew and site conditions, the purpose and results of the dive and any comments. The latter includes an introduction and inspection results for 6 parts of the platform including the lobed wall and beams. With photos, diagrams and written description of results. |
