Description	Letter from John Hope to David Skene in which he states that since Skene was there, he and Dr Freer went carefully through his collection and found some plants they were not expecting; he wishes Skene were in Edinburgh 'to adorn our University'; he introduces Mr. Fabricius of Denmark and Dr. De La Roche of Geneva; and states that if ever a catalogue of Scotch plants is published by 'my young folks', he would like Skene to deal with cryptogamia, undated.
