| Description | Formed at a meeting of the Aberdeen University Ladies Club on 11 June 1929 ' for the purpose of instruction in Scottish Country Dancing'. Held dance classes as well as an annual party. In 1984 the club extended its membership and formally changed its name to the 'Butchart Scottish Country Dance Class'. The dance Club was also know as the Scottish Country Dance Class, the Country Dance Class and the Aberdeen University Country Dance Club. On 20 July 1999, due to declining membership the club was disbanded. |
