DescriptionScans of photos of Hall Russell and employees. In good condition unless otherwise stated. Most are annotated with the names of people and machinery. All A4 size.

Item 11: Black and white. Close up of a presentation of (possibly) a watch to Bill Walker by John Hunter and Frank Rae. The men are shaking hands and dressed in suits. Dated 27 November 1963.

Item 12: Black and white. Formal photograph of a group of gentlemen and one woman at a formal presentation. Those identified include: Bill Inglis, Eddie Ellis, Bill Donald, Andy Peace, Ben Mathieson, Henry Murray, John Massey (retired sergeant of Grampian Police, yard security), Arthur Lees, Jack Craighead, Alan Davie, Kennie Skinner, George Low, Iain Birnie and Jim Sunley (shipyard manager). The lady is Mrs Hopkins. 'Presentation to Tom Hopkins (Engine works manager) on his retirement, 26 October 1988.

Item 14: Black and white. Lady starting off a bowling match, surrounded by a group of gentlemen in formal attire. Bowling green is outdoors and there are houses in the background. Undated, probably 1950s or 1960s.

Item 15: Black and white. Formal picture of the Hall Russell football team in their strip. Some players identified: Jackie George (manager), Sandy McRae (engineer), Doug Dixon (welder), Smith (Rivetter), and the goalkeeper identified as an engineer then a policeman. Undated, mid twentieth century. Taken outside, possibly in Hazelhead Park, Aberdeen.

Item 16: Scanned copies of the black and white photographs in bundle 5 from MS3769/5/3/1, depicting Derek Ballard operating a Centre Lathe in the machine shop of Hall Russell. Second shows Duncan Smith operating a Bridgeport Milling Machine also in the machine shop. Third photo depicts Andy Peace operating a Horizontal Boring Machine in the machine shop. Undated, mid twentieth century.

Item 17: Scan of photograph 14 from MS3769/5/3/1. John Hunter (Engineering manager ) presenting a watch and a wallet to Frank Rae, possibly on his retirement. Present are John Wright (managing director), Sid Kennedy (engineering shop foreman), Eddie Pirie, and George Bissett (foreman, 'sparkie' i.e. electrician) and other, unidentified men. Undated, probably mid twentieth century.

Second is a group shot of the bowlers, front row kneeling, back two rows standing, outside on the green. All men, most wearing semi-casual jumpers, ties and trousers.
