Hugo Manson and Terry Brotherstone participated in international conferences in The Hague, Stavanger, Washington DC, Berline, Rome, and the UK.
Description
Three conference folders, the first entitled 'Seagulls': a lecture to the Elphinstone Institute in March 2003. Heavily annotated copy of the presentation entitled 'What the Seagulls Saw: the unlikely invasion of Aberdeen by a global industry'.
The second half contains the paper given at the World Renewable Energy Congress, 2005, in Aberdeen. Paper was entitled 'Voice of Energy: Today and Tomorrow; documenting oil and gas and the coming of renewables'. One annotated copy and one without annotations. With associated correspondence and documentation concerning registration for delegates.
Conference Report on attendance at the World Energy Cities Partnership (WEC) annual conference (2002) at Stavanger. File also comprises: formal copy of WECP oral history programme proposal presented by Hugo Manson at the annual general meeting.
Folder on attendance/participation at the 2003 Smithsonian Folklife Festival. Includes colour photographs and certificate of appreciation.
