Description'Federation des Paysans Organises de Bakel' pale pink booklet, containing 'Garantonci told by Jengule Ba of Yafera' with illustrations. Translated by Adams into english from Soninke. The first illustration showing two men sitting, has a note above from Adams confessing she might have problems with the fact one man looks very similar to Al - Khali, "a local politician and keen enemy of the Federation".

The story is about a man called Garantonci, who hid some gold in his horse's dung, proclaiming his horse could produce gold. So the Tunka or? wealthy man bought the horse. He was later accused of lying and through more lies got away with it all, while talking the Tunka into killing himself. Garantonci then took over the Tunka's house, but ultimately got killed by his own family, after becoming a rich man. Garantonci means "the liars house".
