DescriptionAdams reasons for the lack in correspondence over the last few months were due to Ramadan and then rice planting. Worries about her parents and her nieces in London all grieving, her mother believes that Adams will return eventually to England to live, but her father 'makes an effort' to accept her life in Africa. Adams grateful if the Hargreaves could call on her parents if they are ever in London. Hopes that by their visits her parents can find a link to her and accept what she became instead of what they wanted her to do.
